Rapid Test
The rapid test is based on the immunochromatographic assay, also known as lateral flow immunoassay. The whole testing is carried out with a test strip or a test cassette. The nitrocellulose membrane (NC membrane) is the core carrier of the immunoassay.
The assay can be classified into 2 categories based on the immunochemical reaction model used. One is the competitive immunoassay, which is mainly applied for small molecule testing, such as drug residue, mycotoxin, etc. The other is the sandwich immunoassay, which is used for protein, virus and antibody testing.
