Accuplus MAT5 - broad spectrum milk antibiotic test kit

Antibiotic residue is used to describe the harmful substances that remain in milk and other animal products after the treatment of animals with antibiotics. These substances can cause health problems for humans and animals, such as allergic reactions, antibiotic resistance, and environmental pollution.  Some of the common antibiotics that are found in milk are β-lactam, tetracycline, fluoroquinolone, sulfonamide, and aminoglycosides, etc.

The current Accuplus MAT5 test kit is a microbial inhibition test kit for broad-spectrum antibiotic residue testing in milk. It is based on the inhibition of bacteria growth by antibiotic residues in milk to detect if the residual level of these chemicals is below the safe level (MRL).

Brief test procedure

Please add 200ul milk into the microwell, and then incubate for 2.5 hours at 64degree celsius. Positive and negative control shall also be operated at the same time to ensure test accuracy.
