Spectinomycin is a pyranobenzodioxin and antibiotic that is active against gram-negative bacteria and used (as its dihydrochloride pentahydrate) to treat gonorrhea. It is produced by the bacterium Streptomyces spectabilis. It has a role as an antimicrobial agent, a bacterial metabolite and an antibacterial drug. Thiamphenicol is an antimicrobial substance intended for the treatment of infectious diseases in cattle, pigs and poultry. Quinolones are a class of synthetic bactericidal antibiotics with broad-spectrum activity, which can inhibit both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. These drugs are frequently employed in animal production, however to ensure consumer product safety, strict MRLs have been established in EU, China and USA. The Spectinomycin Thiamphenicol Quinolones 3in1 tritest is a lateral flow immunoassay to detect spectinomycin, thiamphenicol and quinolones residues in honey in 10min. The detection limit meets EU, USA and China MRLs.
